Increases were steady but more gradual from 1992 to 1999, after which the area seeded increased more rapidly.

Despite occasional years of small declines, both lines indicate increasing participation in the program from 4,894 parcels covering 542 square kilometres in 1991 to 16,694 parcels covering 2,168 square kilometres in 2008.
